4th Group Summary

The blog we chose for this weeks discussion is http://www.aclu.org/immigrants-rights/arizona-immigration-law-threatens-civil-rights-and-public-safety-says-aclu. This blog focuses on immigration problems in the United States, particularly in Arizona. We found this blog to be interesting because we constantly hear stories in the news regarding immigrants and how they are effecting our economy. Many of you at one point in your life may have felt discriminated against and can relate to this article. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

3rd Group Summary

The blog we chose for this weeks discussion is http://www.newyorkemploymentlawyerblog.com/age_discrimination/.This blog focuses on age discrimination in the work force. We found this blog to be appealing because age discrimination is not something you may hear about very often, but during these hard times, it is very prevalent. Many of you may have been discriminated against because of your age over the past couple of years, but you may not have been aware of it. When reading and commenting on this blog, remember that not all of the posts are recent, they range from 2007-2011. Enjoy!

2nd group Summary

This week we choose the blog http://www.texasemploymentlawblog.com/articles/sexual-discrimination/. The blog concentrates on the sexual-discrimination. For now the women are experiencing several social problems. For example, women want to get a higher and salaried position but actually they can’t get it because they are female. So this week’s topic, we want to question whether this actual situation is a result of market competition between male and female or just a kind of discrimination.
